Pastor Wylene C. Martin
Pastor Wylene Martin, affectionately referred to as “Pastor Wy” is the wife of Senior Pastor Marcus E. Martin, and the Co-Pastor of Faith in Action International Ministries.Pastor Wy served diligently for over 12 years, in vast areas of ministry such as ministerial staff, youth director, church treasurer, secretary and more under her spiritual parents Bishop Joie & Pastor Floretta Johnson (Victory Praise Cathedral) in Fayetteville, GA before joining her husband in Houston, Texas.
Pastor Wy holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Morris Brown College, and a Master’s degree in Post-Secondary Education from Troy University, and is pursuing her Doctorate in Education at Grand Canyon University. As a Certified Christian Counselor, she also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Christian Bible Institute & Seminary.
Pastor Wy serves alongside her husband as Pastor and Church Administrator. A woman of virtue, poise, and grace, Pastor Wy is known for her unconditional love and kindness which she pours wholeheartedly into the women of Faith in Action.She is also the Founder and Director of L.I.F.T. (Ladies in Faith Together), the women’s ministry at Faith in Action International Ministries; whose sole intention is to minister to women who are broken and hurting and assist them in achieving spiritual and emotional wholeness. Pastor Wy also teaches the Women of Faith Study Group held the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. She considers her role models spiritual mother, Pastor Floretta Johnson and spiritual mentor, Pastor Bridget Hilliard of New Light Christian Center.
Pastor Wy is also the founder of Fearfully & Wonderfully Made, a girls and teen ministry, dedicated to reaching young females with the love of Christ by mentoring and developing relationships through conferences, retreats, workshops, and other events that meet them at their point of need, and enabling them to discover their identities in Christ.
Pastor Martin demonstrates true poise, character, and wisdom, as she handles her obligations to serve in ministry alongside her husband. She is a model woman of God and takes her responsibilities as a wife, mother and servant of the kingdom very seriously.Senior Pastor Marcus and she are the proud parents of Leonard Sr., Dara (son-in-law, Jeremy), Moriah, and Shelaswau. They also have three wonderful grandchildren, twins, Destiny and Karma, and Leonard, Jr.
