Wylene Martin, affectionately referred to as “Pastor Wy” is a native of Swainsboro, Georgia, the wife of Senior Pastor Marcus E. Martin, and the Co-Pastor of Faith in Action International Ministries. A Christian woman of virtue, poise, and grace, Pastor Wy is known for her unconditional love and perception which she pours wholeheartedly into the women of Faith in Action. Pastor Wy Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Morris Brown College, and a master’s degree in Post-Secondary Education from Troy University. Pastor Wy also has her certification as a Christian Counselor. She currently serves alongside her husband as Church Administrator and Director of L.I.F.T. (Ladies in Faith Together) the women’s ministry at Faith in Action International Ministries; whose sole intention is to minister to women who are broken and hurting and assist them in achieving spiritual and emotional wholeness. She also wants each woman to discover their God-given purpose.
Pastor Wy is also the founder of the girls and teen ministry, Fearfully & Wonderfully Made, where her desire is to reach adolescent and teen girls with the love of Christ by mentoring and developing relationships through conferences, retreats, and other special events that meet them at their point of need, and letting them discover their divine purpose.
Pastor Wylene Martin is a woman of true character, and she handles her obligation to serve in ministry alongside her husband with superb devotion. She is the model woman of God and takes her responsibilities as a wife, mother and servant of the kingdom very seriously. She is an involved mother of five wonderful children, Leonard Sr, Dara, Moriah, Shelaswau and Leonard, Jr.
