What is Angel Food Minstries?
Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 44 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order. - Angel Food Ministries
Families can order a medium-sized box of food each month for $30. This food would normally cost anywhere from $45-$70 if bought in the grocery store. One box of food would typically feed a family of four for one week or a senior citizen for nearly a month.
All payment types are accepted, including EBT. Orders can be placed through Faith in Action each month by using one the convenient methods below:
1) In Person - You can stop by Faith in Action Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays between the hours of 10AM - 2PM. You can also stop by on Wednesday evenings from 7:30PM - 9:00PM.
2) Online - You can click on the link below which will direct you to the Angel Food website. You will then enter Faith in Action as your host site, and you will be able to place your order.
3) Phone - You can call in your order at (281) 933-0868 or (281) 235-0915. You can speak with someone directly or leave a brief message and your call will be returned promptly.
The food is distributed one Saturday per month at the church location between the hours of 9:00AM - 11:00AM.
